This St. James Way starts right at the Italian-French border at Montgenèvre (alt. 1850 m), goes mainly down the Durance valley and ends at Arles. It took me 20 days to walk this pilgrim trail which covers a distance of about 440 km.A detailed guidebook (GR 653D) in French language has been published by the Fédération Française de la Randonnée Pédestre.
